This is the Todd Eaton Memorial Track. Decaying, crumbling, falling apart. Built in 1996, it was named in memory of a Port Dover student who was an exceptional, competitive runner but lost his life to a workplace injury. It was built 22 years ago. But we can’t wait another 22 years to fix it. In fact, we can’t wait one more year.
Community organizations, the Grand Erie District School Board, the Lakewood Parent Group and our students have all stepped up. But we’re not done yet – we need your help to get back on track.
Our goal is $250,000 and we have raised $150,000. We have $100,000 to go. Our deadline is February, 2020 to ensure our project is part of the Board’s capital project plan. We can do this. Let’s cross that finish line together.
Together, we will get back on track.
